Who we are
Somers Audio is an independent software company founded by John Somers, building professional audio applications for live sound engineers. You can reach us at john@somersaudio.com.
What this website collects
Nothing, directly. somersaudio.com is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, embeds no third-party trackers, and has no contact form, account system or newsletter sign-up.
As with any website, our hosting provider records standard server access logs — typically your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. These are kept by the host for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics. We do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
Downloads
Our application installers are not hosted on this website. The download buttons link to our own official release pages on GitHub. When you download a file, GitHub receives the request and applies its own privacy policy — we receive no personal information about you from those downloads, and we do not receive a list of who downloaded what.
If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that email and keep the correspondence so we can answer you and refer back to it later. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share your message with anyone else.
Private areas of this site
Some paths on this domain are private, password-protected tools that are not offered to the public and are not indexed. Any information stored there is only what the authorised users enter themselves, and it is not used for any other purpose.
Our applications
This policy covers the website. Our applications run on your own computer and each has its own privacy behaviour:

Children
This website is aimed at audio professionals and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because this website does not collect personal information, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence deleted, write to john@somersaudio.com and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
